In February, 2019 MPS ltd partnered with Inspired PLC to deliver the ESOS Regulatory submissions and compliance with twenty-three of their customers, across various sectors including retail, hotel and leisure, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical, transport, services, technology and health care throughout the UK.

This involved an initial analysis of the core carbon emitting energy consumption from electricity, gases, transport and other fuels, organising and liaising with the client to agree site surveys, drafting the findings report, feedback and sign off with the clients and submission with the EA.

We used the ESOS process as a means of introducing the clients to develop concrete energy efficient opportunities and projects, gleaned from our practical experience including sub-metering, CHP, Heat Pump, Renewable and BESS technologies. 

Following the analysis and identification of opportunities across a total energy consumption of 591 GWh, we identified potential energy savings of 120 GWh equivalent to £8.7M of energy saving per annum.
